Investing in First Provider EMR was my best decision so far!

Pros:
After a lot of convincing, I am relieved I got the management to invest in First Provider. It is the most ideal solution for our system and has a great EMR. It is very simple to learn, especially when compared to InsightEMR, which was an option we were considering. It took some time, but thanks to it being intuitive, I was doing wonders with it in no time. It offers unmatched services and features that cover almost everything a healthcare organization needs, like patient data management and total billing solutions.

Cons:
There are a few ways to simplify the work process for doctors and make their job more efficient. One of these ways is to automate the process of attaching the date of an X-ray prescription and completion to a patient's online records. Currently, this task is done manually and requires adding the record number to bills, which can be time-consuming and tedious. Despite this, there are other features of the software that justify its price, however, convincing management to invest in expensive software can be difficult, especially if they are not willing to invest in other small office supplies. Additionally, the customer service provided by the software company may not be as polished as that of other similar companies in the industry.

One of the most Revolutionizing and Comprehensive EMR

Pros:
After using a number of different EMRs, it is safe to say that the first one is the most complete of them all. It is so flexible and can be customized to the limit, which ultimately makes it very easy to use. Since we have changed it enough to resemble our previous EMR while utilizing its great features, They offer their features as separate products, which come with special customer support, which I love the most. The team ensures that someone as busy as I can keep up with changes and receive problem fixes on time.

Cons:
It doesn't really do anything bad, but some minor inconveniences are still present. Correcting any mistake after a report has been generated is quite difficult. It requires me to go back to edit and then generate the report again, which is an added step for no reason. And the software itself is great, there's no doubt about that; it just needs to do a bit more to set itself apart from the competition. At this point, they don't really offer much, which would help its case.

Wealth of features and efficient patient file management, but can be tedious to learn and is plagued with distracting pop-ups

Pros:
I would start the "pros" list with how hard it is to master the software. It is a good thing since you are kind of forced to put in effort and end up utilizing all the features to their limits, which speeds a lot of things up. It opens up ways to work that normally you wouldn't even know about. Everything attached to a patient's file can be accessed from the same place, be it the treatment plan, results of reports and tests, or the bills related to the plan. Customer support is by far my favorite part of this software.

Best overall EMR if you're ready to put in effort

Pros:
We used to do everything manually and on paper. It meant a lot of printing and keeping a rack full of files managed and sorted for any queries. Doctors have had to face difficulties when some of their patients' records went missing and when the admin messed up the billing. We then decided to go with an online EMR system. And our first choice is, ironically, 1st provider. It has been a joy using the software to manage all the records and invoices electronically, which not only eliminated the tedious paperwork but also made record keeping a breeze.

Cons:
Since everything we did was on paper, Even the Excel sheets we had were made to be printed and set up in files due to ease of access. It was a very difficult task uploading all the data, which had to be sorted manually at least once in the beginning. After probably a month of late sit-ins and weekend work, we had the software up and ready to go. All this time, customer support was present and closely worked with us to help in whatever way they could to make the switch as smooth as possible.
