Pros thumbs-up

We have had a great experience with the implementation of ChartPath. It has significantly improved our compliance with documentation, and orienting new providers has become straightforward and easy. Moreover, the responsiveness of the customer support team is crucial in ensuring our practice operates smoothly.

Cons thumbs-up

As an administrator, it would be advantageous if we had the ability to customize our notes with simple field updates on our own. This would provide greater flexibility and customization options.

Pros thumbs-up

I find ChartPath to be incredibly user-friendly, and the abundance of features it offers is truly remarkable. The support provided has been exceptional, exceeding my expectations.

Cons thumbs-up

One improvement I would like to see is the inclusion of PCC-DX codes in the system, similar to how medications are incorporated. This would enhance the system's functionality and make it even more comprehensive.

Pros thumbs-up

I must say that the customer service provided by ChartPath is truly outstanding. Their team goes above and beyond, delivering an unparalleled level of support.

Cons thumbs-up

One drawback I've experienced is that the scheduling or appointment feature does not provide automatic and noticeable notifications for follow-up visits. It would be beneficial to have this functionality to ensure patients don't miss their appointments.

Pros thumbs-up

This software is loved by clinicians, and its user-friendly interface greatly facilitates documentation. ChartPath's customer service is outstanding, providing excellent support and addressing technical issues promptly. I always feel like a valued customer whenever I have a need. Furthermore, the team, especially [sensitive content hidden], demonstrates a deep understanding of our daily operations and effectively communicates our requirements to the development team, ensuring real-time assistance whenever necessary.

Cons thumbs-up

My only complaint is that the software was marketed as a complete solution for our business, but it falls short in terms of billing compatibility. We have been repeatedly informed since its deployment that the software is not considered the "source of truth" for insurance by any other customers. This has made it challenging to build an interface with our billing company and handle insurance data storage and transfer. Although there have been improvements since we went live in October 2021, we still wish the system was truly a one-stop shop for our business. Additionally, the integration fee is a concern. Initially, we were told that ChartPath could integrate with Point Click Care, which we then advertised to our customers. However, we are now burdened with paying the integration fee of $100 per month per integrated facility. Passing on this cost to the facilities has proven unsuccessful, leaving us with the choice of shouldering the expense ourselves or denying the integration service altogether. The integration fee should either be eliminated or billed directly to facilities upon signing up for the service, rather than passing it through us as the ChartPath customer.

Pros thumbs-up

I truly appreciate how user-friendly Chartpath is for our nurse practitioners. It simplifies the process of getting them started and provides concise documentation with various sections such as CC, HPI, Medical Problems, Allergies, Medications, FH, SH, and Assessment and Plan. Adding or resolving problems is just a click away, ensuring our data remains up-to-date. The ability to retrieve unchanging information, like admission history and allergies, saves time, especially when dealing with the LTC population. Our providers find Chartpath transparent, allowing them to access their daily numbers and track their RVUs as soon as the coders bill them. They can review their coding details and make necessary changes if any issues arise. Additionally, sharing charts with new providers through Zoom is effortless. Our program is customized by our dedicated team member, [sensitive content hidden], who promptly accommodates our requests for additions or deletions. I highly recommend Chartpath as the best charting software I've ever used.

Cons thumbs-up

The recent CMS rule changes introduced an option for using a prolonged service code. It would be beneficial to have a checkbox that opens a text box for providers to validate why the prolonged service code is necessary and what additional work was done. Another improvement I would suggest is a calendar view where I can see a person's schedule all at once. This would make it easier for me to determine the number of days worked in a month or identify days off without having to go through individual notes and count each day. Having an immediate overview of everyone's schedule would greatly reduce my workload.
