Pros thumbs-up

In my experience, this ranks among the more powerful EHR solutions available and because the interface is extremely simple, virtually anyone can pick up the platform quickly.

Cons thumbs-up

I haven't come acrossany problems while working with the EHR since it provided everything our practice required and also included additional capabilities that we neither utilized nor required.

Pros thumbs-up

I value that the system's intricate feature set permits numerous flexible approaches to handling both billing and appointment scheduling.

Cons thumbs-up

for me the platform's level of complexity means I often feel like I would need a computer science degree to operate it and it lacks simple design.

Pros thumbs-up

Personally, what impressed me most was the random note generation feature because it allowed me to select a concise listing and include detailed observations about muscle tonicity in under ten seconds, after which the system could produce ten to twenty distinct notes derived from those findings, attorneys praised the quality of our documentation and even began referring patients to our clinic due to the thorough, non-generic appearance of the notes and I found reviewing patient data , both billing details and intake/notes , simple and efficient.

Cons thumbs-up

The scheduling component, in contrast, proved to be a bit clumsy and unsimple during routine operations which led us to integrate a different program specifically for appointment management also the software initially constrained overall capacity because it appeared to sit on a database platform (Access as far as I can recall) that capped storage at about 2GB and although the company later resolved that limitation, our larger-sized office had already transitioned to alternative software ahead of their fix.

Pros thumbs-up

We used this program for more than a decade and genuinely adored it because its administrative side presented a logical workflow that fit our office operations even though it occasionally presented issues we learned to work around, its reporting capabilities were excellent, allowing us to instantly assess accounts receivable and the status of collections with virtually no effort and generating and printing statements was simple as was accessing patient information since everything was stored in a user-friendly structure. Our billing and insurance teams still talk about how much they miss this system and after we migrated to a different vendor they continually remind us on a daily basis how much easier things were for them when we had this software. From a provider perspective the documentation and the overall system were truly outstanding and on more than one occasion attorneys called to tell us how impressed they were with the clarity and quality of our notes, even when the core content between notes was identical from visit to visit (not always the case, of course), largely because the application offered random text generation that varied phrasing naturally. A single condition entry such as a T6-L listing (or PLS or whatever nomenclature you prefer) could appear in a note in ten different iterations and all that was required was the press of a single control to regenerate a note, I really miss having that capability for clinical documentation. The provider interface was highly customizable, enabling us to insert any required text, create any macros and include the specific information needed for an exam or note and modifying those elements was effortless , no difficult double-clicks, just a single click and immediate typing if an addition was necessary. Additionally, it met EHR/EMR requirements for PQRS and Meaningful Use compliance and candidly, ChiroOffice: we miss you!

Cons thumbs-up

Okay, having explained how much we loved the program, it should be clear why we no longer use it and the principal limitation was that with our fairly large patient population the backend database was not SQL-based but relied on Microsoft Access which imposes a 2GB cap and once that threshold is approached you are faced with the prospect of either beginning to lose data or performing a compact/repair on a daily basis to prevent exceeding the limit. That situation became particularly aggravating given that we maintain a roster of over 10,000 patients and while vendors might tell you that database size won't be an issue, the reality is that if the software had been designed to accommodate larger data volumes we likely would never have left it. In terms of scheduling functionality we were compelled to adopt a separate solution because our practice encompasses physical therapy, chiropractic, medical and massage services and the native scheduler couldn't fully support the complexity of those combined services the way we needed so we had to rely on an alternate scheduling platform. Finally, even though we were required to run compact/repair routines, the application itself was remarkably stable and, to our relief, we never actually experienced a loss of patient records, I should add that although these points are listed under "cons," I simply ran out of space under "pro" to fully describe how much the product meant to our team.

Pros thumbs-up

During my locum tenure, I only used this program for a brief period, yet I found it relatively simple to pick up with very little instruction which made onboarding simple. A major advantage I appreciated was that the billing functionality is integrated so clinical notes and billing/claims information are maintained within the same platform rather than scattered across multiple systems. My billing manager absolutely loved that consolidation because it simplified the invoicing workflow and accelerated reimbursements and related administrative tasks considerably.

Cons thumbs-up

I genuinely have no criticisms of the system, during my time using it I come acrossno problems at all, even though I was unfamiliar with the interface and working in a new environment.
