I find this software to be extremely user-friendly, and the minimal training required has been a great advantage for our team. The ability to trace back any changes made in treatment, such as dose, frequency, or cancer-related events, is incredibly helpful. These changes are recorded and presented graphically, allowing for easy visualization. Whether in a small practice or a multi-level hospital, this software meets all of our needs and enables our staff to spend more time with program participants.

Cons

It is challenging to think of anything we didn't like about this software. Prior to using Community CareLink (CCL), we relied on Excel spreadsheets and formulas to retrieve data. During the implementation process, there were a few minor glitches that required reprogramming. However, the exceptional customer service we received from FirstCall resolved these glitches promptly. We have been using Community CareLink for over 2 years now, and it continues to fulfill all our needs, even during the COVID pandemic. It has allowed us to gather crucial data, leading to additional funding opportunities for Healing House.

However, the best part of CCL is undoubtedly its staff. From the initial training sessions, I eagerly looked forward to our meetings. The support team is responsive and quick to address any queries I may have. Their friendly and kind demeanor makes them feel like an integral part of our own team.

Cons

Adapting to this software was initially a learning curve for both my staff and me. Since we were accustomed to using paper and sticky notes for all our work as a small non-profit organization, transitioning to remote work during the pandemic necessitated the abandonment of physical files. However, CCL made this process seamless and provided unwavering support at every step, ensuring that we adjusted as easily as possible to the new system.

The software offers endless options and allows for easy customization to suit our specific needs. If we have a particular program to develop, we can create tracking methods specifically tailored to that program. Furthermore, if we encounter a requirement that isn't already covered by existing features, there are dedicated individuals available to assist us in creating the necessary components promptly.

Cons

The only challenge I face is not a fault of the software itself, but rather a result of my own scheduling constraints. There are so many options and features within the software that I have yet to fully explore and utilize to their full capacity. While this abundance of functionalities is actually a positive aspect, it means that I have yet to scratch the surface and need more time to dedicate to fully understanding and leveraging the software's capabilities.
