Pros ![]()
This is really simple to use even if you're not a computer person. Messages come through instantly and I haven't run into any security concerns so far. Every day, our patients tell us how much they love the service and that it's genuinely helped them stay on top of their appointments. It's also reduced the number of phone calls we get during office hours and overall it's been the best decision our office has made.

Editing information isn't very flexible-certain situations don't allow edits at all. The campaign templates also need an update since we could use new ones.
Pros ![]()
The patient communicator is genuinely life changing for me. I wasn't able to text before and using this has cut down so much time in my day.
Cons ![]()
Honestly I don't have any complaints. I'm sure I'm not using it to its full potential but it still works well for what I need. If anything comes up, I can call and they'll walk me through whatever I need.
Pros ![]()
The patient communicator has truly transformed how I work because previously I lacked the capability to send texts and as a result this tool has reclaimed a tremendous amount of my time.
Cons ![]()
Although I genuinely have no complaints about the platform and admit that I don't utilize it to its full range of features, I still can't find fault with it because whenever a problem arises I can simply place a call to support and they patiently guide me through every step I require.
Pros ![]()
We find the system remarkably simple to use especially for staff who aren't computer experts and messages are transmitted instantly so far I personally haven't come acrossany security problems and our patients tell us every day how much they value the service and how greatly it has helped them keep up with their appointments which has noticeably reduced the number of phone calls during office hours and without question has been the best decision our office has made.
Cons ![]()
I'm frustrated that in certain situations I cannot easily edit information and I would like to see additional campaign templates introduced so that creating and managing outreach is more flexible and less difficult.
Pros ![]()
Really solid communication tool. The two-way texting feature, along with the appointment reminder functionality, has been genuinely helpful and simple to use.
Cons ![]()
Everything has been running well so far and I haven't run into many issues. It's held up reliably for the time being.
Pros ![]()
Digital Forms have genuinely been a game-changer for us. Before switching, we were dealing with constant problems-patients hated filling out paper forms in the office or going through the back-and-forth email process when forms were returned. Also, nothing integrated cleanly with our EHR so it quickly became a frustrating workflow mess.
With Doctible, the digital forms run smoothly and efficiently for both staff and patients. Everyone can complete things without the usual delays and it's made day-to-day operations feel a lot more organized.
Cons ![]()
NextGen integration would be a welcome upgrade. The current capabilities are already very helpful but a more complete integration-especially one that automatically pulls demographic and medical details straight into the EHR-would make the whole process even more smooth.
Pros ![]()
Digital forms have been an absolute game-changer for our office, transforming a recurring headache into a organized process that benefits everyone, we used to wrestle with endless problems and see patients grow more and more frustrated as they completed paper paperwork in the waiting room or tried to exchange forms back and forth via email. Nothing seemed to sync properly with our EHR and the whole situation felt chaotic but since adopting Doctible's digital forms the process has become smooth, efficient and far more user-friendly for both our staff and the patients we serve.
Cons ![]()
I would really like to see a complete NextGen integration implemented. Although the functionality available now is extremely useful and has improved our operations, a more thorough connection, particularly one that could automatically import demographic and clinical data straight into the EHR,would further manage our workflow and reduce manual entry, making the entire system even more cohesive.
Pros ![]()
I'm genuinely impressed by its communication capabilities since the two-way texting and appointment reminder functions make managing patient outreach simple and are a pleasure to use.
Cons ![]()
overall I find that it functions smoothly and I haven't come acrossmany problems with it, at this point everything continues to operate as expected.
Pros ![]()
I found the onboarding presentation to be very strong and well-executed and although it is evident the service is designed to increase the volume of reviews we receive, I came away feeling that the company does not consistently stand behind the product when issues arise.
Cons ![]()
It does not integrate with our EMR which forces my staff to take additional steps and increases administrative overhead and furthermore they lock you into a self-renewing $300/month contract that I do not consider to be good value.
Pros ![]()
Doctible feels really user friendly and the patients seem to love it-especially the ability to text. Appointment reminders are also a big win. I also appreciate how the campaign tool makes it simple to message more than one patient at a time.
Cons ![]()
Campaigns are limited to email only and there's no texting option when you're sending to more than 500 people.
Doctible Use Cases
Based on our analysis of user reviews and Doctible’s current capabilities, we have identified key scenarios where this software is a good fit for healthcare practices:
-
Dental Practices Managing Cancellations And Schedule Gaps
Dental practices can lose valuable chair time when patients cancel on short notice, leaving staff to call through a list of names hoping someone answers. Manually working a paper or spreadsheet-based waitlist takes time that front desk teams don't always have. Doctible gives dental practices a way to fill those openings through automated text and voice outreach rather than manual calls.
-
Chiropractic And Orthodontic Practices Digitizing Patient Intake And Consent
Chiropractic and orthodontic offices relying on paper forms or emailed documents often find that patients complete them late or not at all, which adds time to the check-in process. Doctible's digital forms let these practices send intake and consent documents ahead of the appointment, cutting down on delays from incomplete records.
-
Optometry Practices Building Online Reputation And Review Volume
Optometry and vision practices competing in local markets depend heavily on online reviews, since many patients check ratings before deciding where to book an appointment. Without a consistent process, satisfied patients may leave without ever posting feedback. Doctible gives optometry practices a structured way to request reviews after visits, rather than hoping patients remember on their own.
-
Dental And Optometry Practices Re-Engaging Overdue Patients
Dental and optometry practices running recall-based care can lose track of patients who are overdue for a checkup, and this gets harder to manage as patient volume grows. Reviewing records by hand to figure out who needs a reminder becomes difficult to keep up with over time. Doctible's patient recall feature flags overdue patients automatically and sends reminders so they can schedule their next visit.
-
Chiropractic Practices Reducing Phone-Based Scheduling Volume
A significant part of front desk time in chiropractic offices goes to answering calls for routine bookings, the kind of scheduling that doesn't need a person on the other end of the line. That volume adds up and pulls staff away from patients actually in the office. Doctible allows patients to book appointments directly through the practice website, reducing the number of scheduling calls staff need to handle.

Ease of Use & User-Friendly Interface |
Practice Management System Integrations |

|
Ease of use is the most praised aspect of Doctible. Staff on both the clinical and administrative side, even the ones who aren't especially tech-savvy, tend to pick it up fast. A user stated, "Being someone who is not very good with technology, I find the software simple to use and easy to understand, making it suitable for everyone." |
Integration quality generates the largest share of complaints. Some practices connect fine, others deal with sync failures with some third-party EHR and PMS platforms. One user expressed, "Doctible doesn't seem to take responsibility for errors in syncing with our Eaglesoft system, leading to discrepancies in appointment confirmations." |

Patient Communication & Appointment Reminders |
Feature Limitations & Workflow Gaps |
|
|
|
Texting and appointment reminders are what reviewers mention most when they talk about communication. Practices mention fewer phone calls and quicker responses from patients once they start using it. A user mentioned, "Being able to communicate with our patients via text messaging has been a game-changer, as it often garners quicker responses compared to traditional phone calls." |
Most other feedback is about missing features, not things that are broken. Users ask for SMS for larger campaigns, better message tracking, and more flexible scheduling. As stated by a user, "What frustrates me is that campaigns are limited to email delivery and cannot be sent as texts when the recipient list exceeds 500 people." |

Review Management & Online Reputation |
Pricing & Value |
|
|
|
Review generation and reputation management receive positive feedback. A user said, "I've noticed that the number of reviews we've been receiving has significantly increased." |
Pricing sentiment is generally favorable but mixed. Some reviewers call it affordable or worth what they pay, while others point to contract terms and price hikes as a real strain for smaller practices. One user mentioned, "Price increases without notification were concerning; we reviewed our costs and considered canceling until they were fixed." |
