Pros thumbs-up

I appreciate the extensive customization available across so many parts of the product, which lets our team tailor workflows precisely; additionally, the interface remains straightforward and the processing flow is easy for staff in every department to follow, while the Cloud SaaS architecture feels secure and performs quickly. Beyond that, the customer support and development teams have impressed me, the upfront and monthly costs are reasonably manageable and the developers consistently offer assistance and remain open to making improvements.

Cons thumbs-up

We've encountered some fairly significant problems in certain billing areas that have created real headaches for our team and it often feels like the system was originally conceived for a smaller private-practice setup rather than an organization with our size and structure, which means some workflows don't map well to how we operate. It does have solid fundamentals and thoughtful design elements, but we're still ironing out a number of issues, particularly around paper statements, and while these are frustrating they aren't a deal breaker for us.

Pros thumbs-up

What I appreciate most about Bear is the deep customization it offers; it allows me to configure exactly the elements I need to be charted, which means I no longer have to depend on clinicians to remember every compliance-related detail. Because the system proactively prompts and guides compliance on its own, it feels like an absolute blessing for anyone whose role involves keeping records within regulatory requirements.

Cons thumbs-up

In my view, the graphics and overall presentation feel a bit dated and could use a visual refresh, as updating the interface would make the experience more modern and visually engaging.

Pros thumbs-up

Because it integrates both ICD-10 and DSM-V directly into the platform, I find diagnosing and plotting treatment plans much more straightforward and consistent across our team and since the system is web-based, an employee whose desktop crashes can still jump onto a phone or tablet to keep working until we replace the machine. I also appreciate that the built-in voice dictation cuts down on documentation time dramatically and the clinical forms being modular, constructed in discrete sections, make it simple to tweak particular parts to meet evolving documentation rules without having to reinvent an entire form.

Cons thumbs-up

Only a couple of small annoyances bother me: for example, I wish there were an option to modify a recurring appointment series without deleting the entire sequence and recreating it from scratch and the visual cues the software uses , particularly the color choices that mark sections of a form as complete , could be clearer or more customizable so it's easier for my staff to glance and know what's still outst anding.
