Built-in templates are really useful especially for small medical and healthcare businesses. My favorite feature is the Pull Forward option for previous notes and it helps a lot with making documentation and paperwork much more manageable.

The pricing may not feel worth it if your team has fewer than 10 users. Support is also not available in real time since most questions get pushed to the online FAQ library or AI which makes it hard to get personalized help when it's actually needed. On top of that leaving it can be frustrating too because they require advance notice of 3 to 6 months, otherwise you may not be able to cancel the subscription. So definitely read the fine print carefully. Exporting data was also a headache for me especially with how poorly they handled a client's exit.

Overall our experience with it has been really positive. It has become part of our daily routine at the clinic. From the moment a family completes intake to documenting sessions and handling billing, everything runs through one system. That makes our work feel more connected and organized. As a pediatric therapy center, accuracy really matters to us, both for our kids and for compliance. This tool helps us stay on top of that. Once our team got past the initial learning curve, we saw how much smoother our days became. Yes it is not perfect but it's dependable. We have also seen steady improvements and updates over time which we appreciate.

At the beginning it honestly felt like a lot to absorb. With so many features available, it can be overwhelming for new staff especially anyone who hasn't used an EHR before. We spent a fair amount of time exploring the system and figuring out what really worked for our daily workflow. Some areas seem built more with larger clinics in mind so we had to make a few adjustments to fit the way we operate. Even the reporting sometimes involves a bit of trial and error to get exactly what we need. Though it is not a major problem but it definitely takes some patience until everything starts to feel familiar.

Navigating Fusion is pretty easy and it comes with a wide range of features that make documentation and EMR tasks simple to manage. Everything is laid out in a very organized way.

I'd really like to see an option to lock case notes so no one else can delete or change someone's note. It would also help if the appointment list clearly separated make-up appointments from regular ones. Also late cancel option would be a nice addition.
Pros ![]()
While using Fusion Web Clinic, I've found it to be a comprehensive, full-service EMR geared specifically toward therapy practices , covering scheduling, billing, goal tracking and documentation , and it's simple to navigate, with a range of ready-made templates for goals and other tasks.
Cons ![]()
I've run into limitations where the system won't let me customize specific fields, like the 'type' of appointment and support response times tend to be on the slower side when I've needed help.
Pros ![]()
Running a therapy practice feels much more manageable with this full-service EMR. As it covers scheduling, billing, goal tracking and documentation all in one place and the layout is very simple to navigate. The built-in templates especially for goals and similar tasks, also save a lot of time.
Cons ![]()
One limitation is that some areas cannot be customized like the appointment type field. Customer support has also been a bit slow when help is needed.
Pros ![]()
To begin, you should know this product started out as Fusion Web Clinic and I began using it about nine years ago when it was still owned and managed by the original team which made for a really positive experience, back then the platform felt cutting-edge and was by far the most advanced, user-friendly EMR available for SLPs but after they sold the company in 2021 I've watched it decline noticeably.
Cons ![]()
There is absolutely zero customer support now and when I say zero I mean they are completely unresponsive, under the original ownership I received excellent help but after the private equity firm took over they seemed more focused on pushing other products and services than actually supporting users like me.
Pros ![]()
Scheduling is one of the best parts of Fusion, report creation is useful too and the reconciliation process is pretty easy and clear.
Cons ![]()
Some limitations make it frustrating at times. Like you cannot create or change rules. Reports made in Insights New do not update right away when data changes as there's a 24-hour delay which isn't practical for real work. I also cannot share Legacy Reports. And while Insights New gives a lot of flexibility when designing reports, I wish Insights Legacy had that same level of customization. Plus not being able to share only certain Legacy reports is also a problem. Some reports should be visible to certain users, while others should stay restricted to admin-level access.
Pros ![]()
What I appreciate most about Fusion is how simple scheduling is to set up and manage, that I'm able to create custom reports when needed and that the reconciliation process tends to be fairly simple and easy to follow.
Cons ![]()
I'm really frustrated by several limitations that interfere with daily use: I can't create or modify rules within the system which prevents me from tailoring automation the way I'd like and reports generated under Insights New don't reflect data updates immediately , they take about 24 hours to refresh which simply isn't workable in a fast-paced work environment. On top of that, Legacy Reports can't be shared and although I genuinely like how flexible Insight New is for designing reports, I wish Insights Legacy offered the same level of design flexibility, not being able to selectively share only certain Legacy reports,so that some stay admin-only while others are distributed, creates real problems for our workflow.
Pros ![]()
As a clinician, I really value the ability to count the number of visits when I'm tracking authorizations, the roll-forward feature on daily notes that speeds up documentation, the physician contact log and how simple it is to fax documents to physicians to keep them current.
Cons ![]()
I get frustrated that I can't populate or bill no-show fees directly from the calendar view and I also dislike that administrative staff require a full user charge which adds extra cost and unnecessary complexity.
Pros ![]()
One thing that really helps with Fusion is being able to count the number of visits while tracking authorizations. The roll forward option on daily notes also saves time and makes documentation much faster. I also like having the physician contact log built in and faxing documents directly to physicians is convenient for keeping everyone updated.
Cons ![]()
A downside is that you cannot add and charge no-show fees directly from the calendar view. It is also frustrating that admin staff require a full user charge.
