As a user, I find the application straightforward to navigate, and it offers a wide range of capabilities and tools that cover most needs.

Cons thumbs-up

Because the out-of-the-box canned reporting is quite restrictive, I was forced to look at Greenway's supplemental product, Practice Analytics, which they market separately; although that add-on provides many more prebuilt reports and even lets me create custom ones, it requires an extra purchase beyond Intergy, and I have to live with the fact that the underlying database only synchronizes once daily during the overnight window.

While I once held their customer support in high regard, my sentiment has shifted dramatically because of the recent alterations they implemented; after twenty-six years at this practice, during which I remained loyal through multiple organizational transitions, I find myself increasingly frustrated by what I perceive as a steady erosion of service quality. The changes they've made to their support structure have, in my view, significantly undermined the company's ability to assist us effectively, and it appears that whenever a strong team forms to help our practice, those people are later let go, which only exacerbates the decline; I cannot emphasize enough how much their customer service has deteriorated recently.

Cons thumbs-up

My grievances are not directed at the software itself, as it has generally met our needs; rather, it is unequivocally the customer support and overall service that have suffered a severe decline over the past six months, leaving us without the reliable assistance we previously depended on.

I oversee multiple functions that span from pre-certification through refunds and encompass the various departments in between, and tools like claim control alongside ERA processing have made addressing and resolving denied claims substantially more efficient for me.

Cons thumbs-up

When I work within the patient-account collection module I notice that the data is presented in a different layout than the usual view, which means I must spend additional time adapting to where each piece of information is placed within the boxes or discovering that some details are omitted altogether.

I find Intergy extremely intuitive and straightforward to use, with an interface that makes navigation effortless and robust customization options, while scheduling patients and retrieving their demographic details remains remarkably simple.

Cons thumbs-up

In my experience, the main drawbacks with Intergy involve challenges merging charts and difficulty accessing some scanned documents, which can disrupt workflow when trying to review patient records.

I've been using Greenway Intergy for about four years, and before that I worked on a different Greenway EHR for several years, so I feel like my perspective reflects experience across more than one of their platforms. Over time I've found that the support team is generally well informed about common issues, and when they encounter something beyond their scope they escalate the case to a higher-level team rather than leaving you stranded. In the past three to four years I have observed Greenway make a genuine effort to improve the product, and one of the most notable initiatives was the creation of an end-user program designed to solicit input on feature improvements. As a participant I was given repeated chances to provide candid feedback about what worked, what didn't, and how the application could be refined, and that program met several times a month for, I would estimate, around two years which demonstrated real commitment. Frankly, that user-driven initiative is probably the best step Greenway has taken in my view. Charting in Intergy relies heavily on forms, and while I personally dislike many of the default forms provided, the platform's flexibility allows me to design custom forms tailored to my practice's workflows, and there is also a broad library of templates that will likely satisfy many other clinics. Overall, I appreciate the breadth of features Intergy offers even if some elements require customization to fit our needs.

Cons thumbs-up

Implementation was, in my experience, one of the most difficult parts of adopting Intergy; our health center had been using a Greenway product called Success EHS which Greenway discontinued, and we were essentially forced into a conversion to Intergy that did not go smoothly. On Go-Live day the transition was so chaotic that we reverted to paper chart notes for roughly two weeks while critical issues were addressed, and that disruption had a real operational impact. In practice I believe most clinics will need a designated "super user" because several workflows are not intuitive or are cumbersome for the average staff member, and as a result you should plan and develop your own onboarding and training curriculum for new hires rather than rely solely on vendor materials. Although there are training videos available, I found that nearly all of them are outdated and therefore of limited usefulness, which compounds the training burden. Finally, from my perspective the billing module in Intergy requires a substantial redesign, as it currently lacks the efficiency and clarity that would make revenue cycle management straightforward for our team.

Pros thumbs-up

I find Intergy to be extremely user-friendly, and in my experience the interface makes it simple not only to navigate but also to locate comprehensive information about a patient, because every action and event related to that individual remains consolidated within that patient's Intergy record so I do not have to hunt through disparate modules. The software eliminates the need to jump between separate areas to reconstruct a patient story, which in turn streamlines my workflow; scheduling and patient management are intuitive and flow smoothly so tasks do not feel disjointed. When reviewing demographics I appreciate that the principal patient details are displayed together on a single screen, and the system also includes a robust assortment of basic built-in reports that meets most day-to-day needs. For more advanced, granular analytics we rely on their separate Practice Analytics product, yet the reports inside Intergy still provide the essential practice-level insights. I also value the ability to design and print custom patient letters, while charge and payment posting is straightforward to execute. The financial activity module is particularly well-developed, among the strongest I have encountered, because tracking transactions for a charge is clear and sequential, charges can be voided, and financial entries can be reversed easily when situations such as payment takebacks or contractual adjustments arise.

Cons thumbs-up

In setting up the system for our large, multi-specialty practice that spans multiple sites and providers we have encountered configuration challenges, and I feel the platform does not readily support the way we need to allocate revenue and expenses across several cost centers for a single provider without resorting to workarounds. Unfortunately enabling multiple cost centers appears to require purchasing an extra provider user/license, which then creates additional administrative and financial complexities, and I would also appreciate a fee schedule maintenance option that can pull the allowable amounts based on place of service (POS) to simplify billing accuracy.

I consider this software to be an extensive and highly adaptable platform for multi-specialty practices, offering a breadth of features that accommodate diverse clinical workflows; moreover, I find its reporting functionality to be truly unparalleled in depth and clarity.

Cons thumbs-up

In my experience, the user interface feels dated and would benefit from a visual and usability refresh; consequently, my team has been forced to rely on a third-party integrated solution for capturing digital signatures.

In my experience, the software is very user-friendly and gives me comprehensive control over the operations of my business practice, and the IT support as well as the training have been excellent.

Cons thumbs-up

I find that the clinical capabilities lag behind the more sophisticated revenue management tools, and my providers have tended to favor the clinical modules of other systems over those offered in Intergy.

I find the scheduler extremely interactive, and I was able to pick it up quickly and put it to use without difficulty.

For me, a number of the functions have been hard to master and operate, and using the system often involves repeatedly clicking numerous checkboxes, which becomes tedious and inefficient.
