Not being particularly tech-savvy, I moved from an in-person practice one day and found myself adopting HIPAAVideo the very next day and to my surprise we managed to get everything up and running. As the the team walked me through the setup, provided ongoing support and I have genuinely liked the help they offered. I initially turned to the platform because of COVID, yet it has proven to be extremely practical even beyond pandemic precautions since it spares my clients the travel time to and from my office and makes scheduling more flexible. An unexpected benefit has been that, probably due to the platforms timing structure, I rarely exceed the allotted session time now which is better for both the client and for me.

I can no longer view the elapsed time indicator on the screen and that visual countdown used to serve as a helpful cue that kept me aware of how much of the session had passed and helped me manage time more effectively.

I find that the login process can be problematic for clients who forget their passwords because recovering access sometimes proves difficult and can interrupt the session flow, leading to occasional frustration.

In my experience, many of my patients who use Android phones, such as Samsung models and similar devices, cannot install or use the app. As a result, I'm unable to see or speak with them.
