I find the pricing extremely reasonable and scheduling appointments for my clients is simple while the customer support team is outstanding, insurance claims processing is uncomplicated and because the platform is cloud-hosted I also value the accessibility it provides.

While the product functions immediately after setup, I notice that several capabilities are poorly executed and require extensive tailoring before they become genuinely usable so although it operates out of the box it may still fall short of my specific requirements.
Pros ![]()
In our school clinical setting I rely on Jane across twelve treatment rooms while managing roughly 40-60 new students each year which means we regularly need to train students to use the software and in practice I have found it very simple for that purpose. We genuinely appreciate the responsiveness of customer support and the steady cadence of system updates, many of which introduce practical, well-thought-out features that keep the platform current. From the Clinic Manager, Client and Practitioner viewpoints, appointment booking and management are generally simple for most newcomers and even our older clients who sometimes struggle with new technology are usually able to navigate the key functions. Automated notifications, reminder emails and SMS alerts are particularly valuable given the high annual turnover of users and clients we handle, helping to reduce no-shows and administrative overhead.

One ongoing administrative annoyance for us is that payment batching within Jane Payments cannot be adjusted and on top of that the system removes UTM tracking data from reports, these limitations present more of a bookkeeping and administrative headache than a direct problem for end users. Because batching can span multiple service days, it's possible to find payments for a single day appearing in two separate batches depending on clinic hours which complicates reconciliation and reporting. If you already work with UTM parameters you will understand why losing that data is significant for some analytical workflows, though it typically doesn't affect the routine day-to-day experience of most staff and clients.
Pros ![]()
Their customer support is unfailingly excellent, whenever I need guidance on tasks like configuring an employee's commission rate or issuing a refund, the responses I receive by email are comprehensive and they even attach embedded tutorial videos so I can visually follow the exact steps to complete the task.
Cons ![]()
I'd prefer the price to be somewhat lower, while it's not prohibitively costly, my practice must be careful with its budget and therefore we need to keep operating expenses as minimal as feasibly possible.
Pros ![]()
I've found this software to offer excellent value for the price and the support team has been both friendly and highly responsive, when issues escalated they kept me updated clearly throughout and the interface is simple while the note-keeping features are particularly well implemented.
Cons ![]()
Although I appreciate many aspects of the product, I experienced that problem resolution often took longer than I expected and the repeated walkthroughs of the same troubleshooting steps became frustrating for me and other users at times, nonetheless the appointment-management functionality works very well but it would be even more useful if it could merge or group two or more bookings into a single entry.
Pros ![]()
I've found Jane to offer an abundance of excellent features, foremost among them is an exceptionally user-friendly and simple interface that markedly simplifies staff training, turning what used to be a drawn-out onboarding task into something quick and simple. I'm especially fond of the online booking portal because it enables patients to effortlessly schedule and manage their appointment times and appointment types, while the platform also organizes clinicians' note-taking and documentation workflows also all of this capability is provided for a very reasonable monthly fee that is scaled according to the number of providers at our clinic.
Cons ![]()
We found the insurance billing module to be somewhat difficult and awkward to work with which created extra administrative overhead but after we transitioned our practice to a cash-based clinic model that particular pain point was completely eliminated and no longer impacts our day-to-day operations.
Pros ![]()
As far as scheduling platforms go, I've found Jane to be the standout choice, because I can schedule appointments with remarkable ease and new hires learn how to manage bookings very quickly, in fact, many of them are independently handling appointment scheduling within their first few shifts.
Cons ![]()
We find that some of the reporting tools aren't designed for multi-clinic practices since we operate five clinics, the Accounts Receivable report in particular is difficult to navigate and when I drill into a specific account it dumps me into a list of all outstanding balances without any option to filter by the age of the charges.
Pros ![]()
Finding it simple to operate, I appreciate that we can clone previous records and expand them which significantly accelerates the process of taking and managing patient notes.
Cons ![]()
I find Jane to be an excellent EMR overall yet it lacks features found in competing packages such as integration with an image-handling app, comprehensive staff tracking tied to sales and a built-in time clock for clocking in.
Pros ![]()
I appreciate that the platform is visually appealing and I particularly value the Claim MD integration which works well also customer service responds promptly and the provider documentation is simple to follow.
Cons ![]()
In my experience, the client portal is in need of several updates because when clients sign in using Google or Apple rather than their username, the system creates duplicate accounts and fails to transfer their appointment and billing information and I also find that the family account management features require considerable improvement.
Pros ![]()
One thing I appreciate most about the Jane app is its user-friendliness, because as a client I can easily view available appointments and clearly identify the practitioner I will be booking with.
Cons ![]()
One frustration I come across with Jane is how effortless it can be to overlook changing the service type, because on several occasions I ended up scheduling initial appointments repeatedly without noticing the mistake until later.
Pros ![]()
This platform is extremely simple and packed with virtually every feature I'd expect and I particularly appreciate the built-in direct-billing capability along with its smooth online appointment booking, while creating forms and organizing my schedule remains simple.
Cons ![]()
However as a solo practitioner I find their pricing model extremely frustrating because it feels clearly designed to cater to larger clinics rather than individuals like me.
