As a solo practitioner in telepsychiatry, I could not integrate lab results. The additional billing fees were ridiculously high. What's worse, over 30% of my claims submitted through APEX/Luminello got rejected. And there was no support whatsoever.

Dealing with billing was a nightmare, and customer service was not any better, outsourced to who knows where. Our bills went through APEX EDI clearinghouse, but the ERAs supposedly came back through Change Healthcare , two different systems with extra fees, naturally. We were never properly set up and were not informed about this, resulting in over 10 weeks without any ERAs. They also messed up our billing setup, mislabeling NPIs, leading to about a third of our claims getting denied. And when we caught their mistake, they shifted the blame to us, despite them being responsible for the setup.

Customer service has been fabulous - especially compared to my last EMR. Weekend hours, quick email or chat response, ability to have 10 min zoom call for help, friendliness of staff are outstanding. Price compared to my last service is half the price for a better product. This program is simple, user friendly and easy for both staff and patients to use.
