In my experience, Maya helps me create stunning renders of 3D sets that integrate neatly with our TriCaster-based virtual-set workflow and its scene management features make tweaking and iterating on changes surprisingly simple.

I've found Maya to be extremely powerful but that very depth makes it daunting to pick up in a short span, especially for newcomers who might expect to get productive quickly, personally it took me years of steady practice to reach comfort and even now there are numerous tools and workflows that I haven't fully mastered. Because of that steep learning curve, investing time to become proficient with Maya is non-negotiable. On top of that, the application itself is hefty , it consumes a lot of disk space and demands a capable graphics card to run smoothly which means it simply won't work well, or at all, on most low-end machines.

As a user, I find this software excellent not only for small businesses but it scales well for large enterprises too and I've discovered that it's equally suitable for freelancers as well.

Unfortunately it only supports English which I find to be a minor drawback of the software.

I consider this software extremely strong when it comes to 3D creation and modeling since it lets me produce visual effects, animations and simulations and overall it's highly practical and feature-complete.

for me the interface isn't particularly simple and whenever I try to work with it I have to rely on prior knowledge or training to get things done.

I can't say I have many complaints about it, though my main reservation is the price since I feel it could be offered at a somewhat lower cost to make it more accessible to hobbyists and small studios.
