Saves time by providing a comprehensive patient information

Pros:
So here at my office, the entire staff uses Medent, so we are all on the same page. Since I now understand the basics of how the software functions, my experience so far has been fairly positive. I appreciate how thorough and detailed it is and how much information, including crucial patient data, can be found through the software which saves my precious time. I also like the fact that you may change the theme's color to suit your preferences. To make it easier to find what you're looking for, the application has these properly divided into several categories to look through.

Cons:
When I first started using it, it was a bit too confusing and seemed too much. It can be a little complicated to use the application initially because you have to click on several different windows and icons just to get where you want and without prior knowledge, you just feel a little lost. I felt like there needs to be more guides and added customer support options at the start. Additionally, I don't like how some of the sections in a patient's chart can be so hard to get, again if you have no prior knowledge.

An excellent application to save costs and boost revenue

Pros:
I must say that overall, we were extremely delighted with this pretty neat software, and when compared to other systems, we have always found MEDENT to be superior in terms of capability and price. Within a year of starting it, the software proved to be profitable. We saw a 50% increase in production by the second year. It is not at all expensive for a small-sized company, such as ours. It has excellent customer assistance on working days. The software makes sure we remain cost-effective and do not overspend. Excellent support in achieving the quality matrix for meaningful use.

Cons:
One thing that bothers me the most is their insufficient weekend support. If you need to work overtime on the weekends and may end up needing support, their team is almost absent even though they claim to be up for help any day and time. Also, updates seem to take forever to arrive, you might as well forget another update was due in the meantime. If you encounter a system error, it may take a lot longer than you'd expect to fix it. The functionality of prescribing has recently gotten worse and is taking a while to get better. Hope they fix all these issues.

Highly customizable with great UI.

Pros:
I really like how the patient's chart is entirely accessible on the dashboard with everything being easy to read. The UI is visually appealing and you get to change the color to your liking. Everything is properly divided into multiple categories, which makes my job easier since I don’t have to spend as much time on searching as I did before.

Cons:
The transition between different elements needs to be improved. Every patient window opens up separately, which becomes annoying when you need to quickly visit a patient’s file. They should add a pop-up option to save time.

Good customer service and easy to use

Pros:
I've used the program for over 14 years. I genuinely recommend and endorse Medent for all of your software requirements. It has excellent customer service and all their staff is ready to help you regarding all your software issues. Very friendly too! The software is very user-friendly and simple to use. For someone like me, it has proven to be a breeze to learn as I'm not too into tech-related things. The features are excellent and cater to all my organizational needs. EFTs can be downloaded quickly and easily, patients can receive statements, electronic claims can be submitted, etc. The EMR is also excellent.

Cons:
The one thing I don't like is that you have to leave your details when you call for help and wait for a callback. The return call is typically quite rapid and quick, but if I need help right away, you'll have to wait. However, they always provide the best solutions and are always sorry for the wait. Besides, even though I did not have much trouble using the application, a training guide would be very much appreciated regardless. Also, moving reports from one tab to another is not as easy.

The integration with third-party application saved a lot of time!

Pros:
The software dashboard and design are clean and straightforward, unlike other similar applications that I have used which lag at this part the most. Some of its features are very helpful and have not only saved time but my costs as well. For instance, the ability of the application to integrate with other third-party applications saved me hassle of manually shifting information from my previous app to this one. Besides, the information stored by the application can be accessed easily and has all the details in-depth.

Cons:
Some interfaces and functionality, generally minor ones, need to be upgraded for more recent use. There are distinct windows that have to be opened for each patient due to the flat design, which lacks pop-up windows or tabs for various accounts. Another issue that I have with the application is that they do not have 24/7 customer service. As a result, I have to wait first to reach out to the team and then to get my query resolved with is a pretty frustrating and time-consuming process. The software must pay attention to this because such issues cannot work in an industry where we need to respond immediately.
