Netsmart sets itself apart with very detailed charts that help in diagnosis and in planning a specific treatment for each patient. Overall, this is a very easy piece of software to operate. Learning new features or refreshing your grip on the old ones is very easy thanks to the always-available tutorials, which leave no stone unturned. You will rarely feel the need to contact customer support.

I have seen some very weird bugs every now and then, which have occasionally resulted in huge data losses. The work was in progress, and data was apparently being saved, but then a crash occurred spontaneously. On reloading the software, it was found that none of the data entered in the current session was saved. I tried contacting support for this, but they had no solution to the problem and only apologized for the inconvenience. The software is plagued with random speed issues.
