For over ten years I remained a very satisfied customer of theirs, since the product was excellent and reliably served our needs; it integrated smoothly into our workflows and performed well for our team. Whenever we needed to add services their customer support was responsive and helpful, which made exp anding our setup straightforward and stress-free.

Trying to cancel our service turned into one of the most awful customer experiences I've ever had, marked by endless delays and lack of ownership from their team. Instead of clear guidance we were passed from one representative to another and repeatedly encountered rude, unhelpful staff who offered no real resolution.

I've relied on Tebra for well over six years and across that time their services have been a real asset to my practice, consistently providing helpful support when we needed it. With such a very small staff, the online booking feature has been a game changer, cutting down the volume of phone calls we have to answer and allowing patients to schedule appointments during off hours without tying up our team. On top of that, the ability to collect online reviews has noticeably strengthened our reputation in the community and they also h andled our website design and ongoing support, which made managing our online presence far simpler.

Ultimately, the only reason I had to terminate services was because of persistent technical glitches during the integration with my EHR/PM system and those integration problems interfered with our workflow enough that I felt I had no choice but to discontinue.
Pros ![]()
I've come to value their customer support and over the last four to six months I've observed a noticeable uptick in responsiveness; the organization also seems open to adopting providers' suggestions for enhancements.
Cons ![]()
A drawback I've noticed is the lack of voice-to-text support, which feels like a glaring omission given that Microsoft Word has provided that kind of functionality for more than ten years.
Pros ![]()
Overall, I'm impressed by how straightforward and relatively intuitive the interface is and because it streamlines tasks into only a few steps I rarely find myself bogged down; in general, I like the product and feel content with how it performs.
Cons ![]()
After using tebra for six years, there are a h andful of small features I'd really like to see added and it frustrates me that despite bringing these ideas up repeatedly over time, it feels like no one's paying attention to my requests.
Pros ![]()
So far the onboarding experience has been largely positive, although there have been a few hiccups along the way; I'm still becoming accustomed to Tebra since this is my first time using it and on the whole I find it fairly straightforward to navigate. When I tried to resolve a specific issue privately by requesting a supervisor call, however, I was left on hold for an interminable amount of time and ultimately received no resolution, which was frustrating given how simple the rest of the process felt.
Cons ![]()
I had an extremely unpleasant encounter with my onboarding manager that really soured the process for me and during a call about problems enrolling for scheduled medications he actually used an obscene word aloud, which left me both shocked and upset at the unprofessional and unethical way he h andled things. Rather than listening or offering patient guidance he came across as bossy and repeatedly spoke over me and while I recognize their workload can be heavy I also expect basic customer service st andards to be met. As a healthcare provider who is just starting out, I am determined not to let behavior like that hold me back, but the whole interaction was deeply discouraging and felt completely unacceptable.
Pros ![]()
We've been truly blown away by Tebra's patient management app; its clean, well-thought-out interface makes it remarkably easy for our team to find what they need and to take full advantage of the platform's capabilities, which has cut down onboarding time and boosted our operational productivity. Customer support has been phenomenal , always responsive, well-informed and ready to assist whenever we run into questions. Given the breadth of features, the smooth day-to-day performance and consistently dependable support, I feel this software delivers outst anding bang for the buck and it's become an essential part of how we run our practice.
Cons ![]()
As Tebra continues to exp and, I'd really like the team to prioritize building more granular, individual user features and tracking capabilities because while most of our initiatives rely on collaborative team work, there are several sensitive, nuanced projects that require single users to h andle protected data on their own; being able to follow and audit individual workflows in those cases would be invaluable and would add a critical layer of accountability and security to our processes.
Pros ![]()
I've found the customer support to be outst anding; typically I receive a reply within 24 hours after submitting a request and on top of that the interface is super straightforward and easy to navigate rather than being overly complicated.
Cons ![]()
In my experience, it's far too easy to end up with duplicate charts and there's no reliable mechanism within the system to prevent or merge them, which creates extra administrative work. I also can't share test documents or attach them directly into test results and there isn't any straightforward way to allow a patient to sign only a st andalone document , everything has to be uploaded verbatim, word for word. Because I see entire families, the lack of a minor portal permission means parents are forced to create a separate email account for each child, which is impractical. Processing refunds for patient overpayments is unnecessarily cumbersome and medications frequently fail to appear under the correct diagnoses; if you try to make the medications populate correctly, you lose the ability to send multiple prescriptions at once. The workflow is further limited because you can't transmit medications or prescriptions from the lab screen and there's no option to sync the patient schedule with an external personal calendar; moreover the mobile app and web app calendars do not sync with one another. Trying to run a telehealth-only practice across multiple states has also proven to be difficult with this platform and when I weigh all of these shortcomings together the overall value for the money ends up feeling quite poor.
Pros ![]()
At the moment, I'm hard-pressed to point to any particular feature I would call a plus; if this same question had been asked of me a year ago, my response would almost certainly have been different because my impression of the software seemed more favorable then.
Cons ![]()
I've discovered that their customer service is based offshore, which means I can't reach anyone in the US and the language barriers create real communication challenges; we even lost data from our files only to learn that they didn't have a backup for our information and on top of that their clearinghouse arbitrarily stops claims without notifying us, preventing timely resolution of problems.
Pros ![]()
From my experience, learning to code here has been straightforward and I can easily download EOBs right from the app while also quickly checking the schedule, much like other EMR platforms.
Cons ![]()
I struggle with online communication with the team and I often can't make sense of how notes are structured in the app, while figuring out the payment tools to charge patients poses an additional challenge.
Pros ![]()
For me, it's generally straightforward to navigate and makes billing simple; the video feature is something my patients appreciate and it performs reliably so long as they have a strong internet or cellular connection.
Cons ![]()
I'd really like the app to let me send or prescribe controlled substances when I'm working on the go and it would be much more useful if there were an integrated voice dictation option so I could document without typing.
