Pros thumbs-up

This tool is excellent for health maintenance. It effectively alerts my healthcare providers about which services are upcoming.

Cons thumbs-up

The software is incredibly cumbersome and inefficient. Completing even a simple task requires an excessive number of steps, and proficiency with database tables is essential to accomplish anything. Also, the support team consistently attributes issues to "network problems" as a way to avoid taking any responsibility for the shortcomings of the software.

Pros thumbs-up

The system is highly customizable. The colors are appealing and gentle on the eyes. I really appreciate the clinical features and the ability to use dot codes to transfer information from progress notes to different parts of the chart.

Cons thumbs-up

The reporting system is full of workarounds and has been problematic ever since McKesson acquired the company. Since Emds took over, customer service has improved, but there have been no significant enhancements to the system.

Pros thumbs-up

Health Maintenance makes it simple for me to see what the patient requires, ensuring no major healthcare needs are overlooked. Scheduling is straightforward with a lot of flexibility. The customer support is approachable and fairly quick.

Cons thumbs-up

Billing tasks are extremely convoluted, often requiring numerous steps. You can't correct a claim directly at the claim level, so if you need to resend a claim after it's been rejected, you have to go through each line, remove any adjustments, and reset each line individually. Reports take an inordinate amount of time to generate, and customizing them requires using SQL queries. Creating a statement file, for instance, can take hours, rendering the billing program unusable during that time. Furthermore, the system is not intuitive; new users cannot easily navigate and find what they need without undergoing extensive training.
