Setting up new patients and updating demographics and insurance details is simple and entering claims feels fast and simple, in my experience this is the third practice management system I've worked with and its claims-scrubbing plus clearinghouse integration outperform the other two, resulting in almost no claim errors. I appreciate that PA groups any claim issues into "buckets" visible right on the home page and from there I'm able to jump to the clearinghouse site to read a detailed explanation for why a claim was rejected or denied.

Although a number of the features rank among the best I've ever used, a surprising portion of the system feels very unfriendly for day-to-day users, the patient transaction history screens, in particular, are baffling and almost totally unusable for our office. My client's front desk staff simply can't make sense of that screen and when a patient calls with a question about their balance I end up pulling paper EOBs, manually reconciling everything myself and creating an Excel spreadsheet to present the account in a way that they can understand. Patient payments don't automatically reduce the total balance due , they must be posted directly to the claim , and once posted they are painfully difficult to find later, especially when a single payment covers multiple claims across different dates of service. Because the transaction history view provides only sparse details, locating a specific payment or entry requires an involved search instead of a simple scan, I would much prefer a chronological, line-by-line ledger that shows every transaction (claim, insurance payment, patient payment, etc.) so nothing has to be hunted down. Posting insurance payments also requires far too many steps to properly "clean up" an account, frequently I'm forced to change the debtor, move payments between service lines, or transfer amounts from one claim DOS to another to get the balances right. Patient statements could also be clearer if more explanatory details were printed on them as the current output often confuses patients. Finally, the Reports function feels basic and not particularly flexible and it would be a real advantage if report customization were simpler and more powerful so I could extract the specific views my practice actually needs.

Over the years I've been using this program, I've picked up ways to work around its various quirks and odd behaviors and although I come across a number of problems, the 'Cons' field here doesn't give me nearly enough room to list them all.
Cons ![]()
I've found numerous items that should be exposed for users to modify or customize because in daily use the transactions list for Adjustments frequently contains duplicates or near-duplicates , for example, ADJUST PER OFFICE is shown twice and entries like ACCOUNT CORRECTION CR versus ACCOUNT CORRECTION CR-RESUBMIT differ only by a single word , and the adjustment codes that are tied to particular insurance companies show up under the debtor column on the claim transaction detail page, when I raised the idea of removing or hiding those codes I was told that doing so would interfere with audit procedures which feels like a limitation that prevents me from tailoring the interface to our workflow even though it would reduce confusion.
Pros ![]()
overall I find the interface fairly simple to navigate and I think the system is generally user-friendly so getting routine tasks done doesn't feel overly complicated for the most part.

That said, all of the so-called "buckets" confuse me and I rarely find them actually useful and the reports feel lacking because they don't extrapolate deeper, actionable data, for example, I want to see which patients have been assigned to a bad address but the system doesn't surface that easily. I also get frustrated that adjustments and transfers aren't instantaneous, when I make an adjustment to one line item I have to wait for it to fully complete before I can work on the next line of that same claim.
Pros ![]()
Navigation is simple and the update process feels very approachable and I get the sense the company keeps a stable support team because I keep dealing with the same knowledgeable reps so I hardly ever have to contact customer or technical support.
Cons ![]()
Honestly I really can't come up with any complaints , nothing springs to mind.
Pros ![]()
Personally, I find it extremely easy to get started with , the layout is simple and nothing about it feels complicated or confusing.
Cons ![]()
Honestly there really isn't anything negative to point out, I enjoy working with the software and haven't run into any issues.
Pros ![]()
For our office, I find it incredibly user-friendly and the simple update process keeps everything running smoothly.
Cons ![]()
To be honest, I can't point to any drawbacks that I'd label as a con.
Pros ![]()
I've found this software to be very simple and user-friendly and overall it's been a solid tool to work with, making routine tasks feel simple and manageable.
Cons ![]()
Recording payments as a single lump-sum would suit me much better because I don't want to repeatedly break down each individual charge when I'm entering payments.
Pros ![]()
I've found this program to be genuinely simple and extremely user-friendly so I was able to pick it up quickly and navigate through its features with little effort.
Cons ![]()
In my practice I wish the reporting were more specifically geared toward anesthesia-based workflows because the current reports don't drill down into the anesthesia details we rely on.
Pros ![]()
When my team and I migrated to Practice Admin, there were so many features that quickly won us over, for example, being able to view a patient's insurance card directly within their file and the easy access to Trizzetto stood out, plus the onboarding training was solid and the overall workflow of the program felt simple and well thought-out.
Cons ![]()
One frustration I've run into is that when I remove an ERA from the posted or pending review queues, the system simply moves it into the unprocessed ERAs folder instead of fully removing it which means I then have to go back and delete it again from that location , effectively doubling the steps for a single action.
Pros ![]()
I'm absolutely loving this program because it's incredibly simple to navigate and I was able to figure out how to get things done on my own without any hand-holding, it's genuinely an awesome product that makes my workflow much easier.
Cons ![]()
The one real issue I've come acrosswith this product is that it will sometimes freeze or become unresponsive, usually when I haven't updated my computer and the system needs to catch up to what the program requires to run smoothly which can disrupt my work.
