Working with EMR software can be pretty complicated but Praxis organizes its screens and links in a way that makes my day-to-day work much more manageable than it could have been. Since I was new to EMRs and dealing with the complexity of the data entry, I ran into a few issues at first. The Praxis help desk has been a huge benefit. Everyone I've dealt with has been friendly, helpful and genuinely pleasant. They even remembered my doctor after several years without any contact which was a really nice touch. I also really value the fact that their support is free especially when so many other software companies charge as much as $200 an hour for help. They're doing an excellent job.
Cons 
This really isn't a Praxis issue but the remote connection can feel pretty slow at times. That said once Praxis actually loads, it runs very quickly except for the occasional moment when it's clearly searching through a very large database.
Pros
Speed and accuracy stood out to me. Getting used to it wasn't hard at all and the software feels like it follows the same logic I do, working with me instead of against me.
Cons
my only complaint is that I didn't discover it sooner because it makes running the practice enjoyable. It's really satisfying to end the day knowing all of the paperwork has been completed correctly.

Customization matters most to me since I usually have my own way of doing things and this software really fits that. Taking notes is a lot faster than using a traditional template system and it also helps jog my memory about what I need to find. At this point, it genuinely feels like my brain is built into this program.

It's hard to come up with a downside because the team is so responsive to what we need. I'm also really excited about the next stage of AI integration since it looks like it's going to work the way I was hoping.

The note generator is outstanding. The more I work with it, the more natural it feels to use. My notes end up being much more tailored to each patient than they ever were with standard templates. It's fast and simple to navigate.

Nothing significant comes to mind. The software has been excellent and the support has been excellent as well. Like any platform, there's a bit of a learning curve at first but it's very simple and quick to pick up.

Being able to build an EMR around the way my practice actually works has made a huge difference. Praxis is incredibly flexible and that has translated into much better efficiency when managing patients, writing quality notes, handling the laboratory interface and moving through tasks like medication refills. It also pulls lab values into the record in a very organized way. On top of that, the customer support has been outstanding and the value for the cost has absolutely been worth it because it makes my workflow much easier. There are also plenty of secure ways to use the patient portal for sharing information and responding to questions.

Praxis EMR has worked better for me than any other program I have used. I would not switch back to anything else.

I don't really have any complaints. The only thing is that it can feel intimidating for a new user since it really expects you to practice medicine thoughtfully and have a solid understanding of it.

The best part is the concept processor logic because it lets me create assessments in a way that matches how I actually think. That has helped me care for my patients more effectively. The customer service has also been outstanding. I've spoken with the rep several times and he really took the time to listen to my feedback. On top of that, the pricing is competitive for an EHR.

The only thing I'm still waiting for is built-in AI. They're already working on it and I'm really looking forward to having that feature available to help streamline my charting.

What I like most is how it actually learns the way I practice. Rather than forcing me through endless clicking, it adjusts to my clinical thought process and personal style. As time has gone on, my charting has become both faster and more accurate and I spend much less time battling the system. That lets me keep my attention on patients instead of staring at the screen which has made my workdays feel far more manageable and a lot less frustrating.

It's a very capable system and once it learns your workflow, it becomes incredibly fast. I really don't have any complaints at this point.
