RCM Cloud

CONS

  • Integrated workflow and automation significantly enhances efficiency by reducing manual processes
  • Being entirely cloud-hosted means losing control over the infrastructure and relying on a third party for system management
  • Cloud-based scalability allows usage to flex as needed without major infrastructure investments, improving ROI
  • Additional costs are incurred for monthly subscription licensing rather than a one-time purchase. Total Cost of Ownership may be higher over time, according to RCM cloud reviews

Pros thumbs-up

As a provider using RCM Cloud, I find the platform was specifically built for organizations like ours and, because it's so straightforward to navigate and underst and, it makes working with claims considerably easier; it helps us resolve issues efficiently and, on the whole, the claim processing speed on this side is impressively fast compared to what we used before.

Cons thumbs-up

I've noticed that when we submit claims through RCM Cloud they do get forwarded to the clearinghouse, but if a payer is missing the system fails to communicate that issue back to us and because it doesn't flag an error at submission time we end up unaware of the problem , the software really should provide a clear submission error whenever a payer is absent so we can fix it immediately.

What I appreciate most about RCM CLOUD is that I can access it from anywhere, which really helps with flexibility.

Cons thumbs-up

When we look to add more advanced features to the software, I find there are certain limitations that restrict enhancement.

Pros thumbs-up

I've found RCM Cloud to be a solid choice for medical billing and what st ands out most to me is the ERA posting feature, which works lightning-fast,whenever I tap 'post online' the transactions go through immediately and reliably to each patient and the way the system integrates with our other tools feels polished and thoughtfully designed.

Cons thumbs-up

The downside I've noticed with RCM Cloud is that secondary claims don't get processed automatically after the primary claim posts, so I have to submit those secondary bills by h and each time, which can be a bit tedious, although aside from that hiccup the rest of the software works well for our needs.

Pros thumbs-up

As a user, I find RCM Cloud incredibly helpful and I can access it remotely with great ease, which really helps my workflow.

Cons thumbs-up

That said, I do run into specific constraints around reporting and automations, because making enhancements on a cloud-based platform isn't straightforward or easily accomplished.

Pros thumbs-up

What I appreciate most about RCM Cloud is how it h andles insurance data management and links patients, because the eligibility checks are seamless, the interface runs smoothly and easily and it clearly shows the current status of claims.

Cons thumbs-up

My main gripe is with the implementation related to the payment category, since linking payments after a primary payment to secondary claims has been problematic and doesn't work as reliably as the rest of the system.

Medical Billing

Pros thumbs-up

For the RCM Cloud, I find the patient management to be outst anding; whenever I save a patient's full details they register in the system seamlessly and submitting claims is equally fluid, so overall the whole processing workflow feels very straightforward and effortless to me.

Cons thumbs-up

One frustration I have is that when I post a manual EOB it won't automatically link the patient, so I end up having to attach the patient record manually to each EOB, which is a frustrating and time-consuming flaw in the process.

Pros thumbs-up

I've noticed that it cuts down on manual labor and, in doing so, helps transition the office toward a completely paperless workflow.

Cons thumbs-up

For me, it would be much better if the system supported EHR alongside RCM and provided seamless integration between them, since they really ought to work together.

Pros thumbs-up

For me, the st andout feature has to be the charge posting combined with claim creation, since it really streamlines the billing workflow and makes tracking and submitting claims much more straightforward.

Cons thumbs-up

I find the payment posting section somewhat confusing, because the process isn't very intuitive at first and it takes extra time to figure out before I feel comfortable using it efficiently.
