I really enjoy how simple it is and how quickly I can finish patient notes. Scheduling patients feels painless too. One feature I appreciate is the ability to pull in older case information when someone comes in for a new case which saves a lot of time.

Getting customer support can be hit or miss since it's not always easy to reach the right person and it doesn't always help resolve errors or glitches. I also wish I could convert a daily note into a progress note when the daily note isn't finished yet.
Pros ![]()
The way they organized the chart was really helpful and I appreciated that they handled HIPAA compliance along with security. They also had solid features available for RTM.
Cons ![]()
Support was frustrating requests took way too long to get resolved and the team didn't feel responsive. Also, the system seemed to be down quite often which made everything harder to rely on.

So i enjoy WebPT, it's pretty simple to use, with a clean, modern interface. Scheduling is handled well and the note taking features have plenty of capacity for documenting patient care. Most of my use was through work for other companies rather than my own practice so I'm especially comfortable with the note and patient record side of the platform.
Cons ![]()
For my private practice though, WebPT ended up feeling way too pricey compared with other EHR options and competitors' pricing.
Pros ![]()
WebPT kept rolling out improvements to the software. The updates generally came when expected and they were scheduled outside work hours so they didn't interfere with my day to day job responsibilities.
Cons ![]()
The interface felt a bit dated. I would've preferred something more advanced more intelligent and with additional features that help speed up finishing and completing notes.
Pros ![]()
This software feels fairly user friendly and applying patient payments is pretty simple. Connecting to the billing system (Therabill) is convenient and it's easy to pull up treatment records whenever you need them.
Cons ![]()
Therapists can't switch to using minutes instead of units for CPT codes. Also, the billing report doesn't list the appointment time which would be useful if you ever need to create a session in Therabill.
Pros ![]()
It worked well enough during day to day use and I was getting by with it at the start. The problem is how quickly it became overpriced, with major price increases every year. Eventually I switched to Hello Note and it's been a much more simple system that costs far less.
Cons ![]()
BEWARE, the way they handle your data when you leave or close your business is unacceptable. There's no practical way to locate individual medical records. They also don't support the requirement to keep records accessible to patients and for legal record requests for 7 10 years. When the records are provided, they come in hundreds of folders with random names and no logical structure so sorting anything by name or date of service is basically impossible. Customer support doesn't offer meaningful help either and it's putting me in a legal bind because I can't provide the access to records I'm required to maintain.
Pros ![]()
This is an all in one EMR package that covers the core functions you'd expect.
Cons ![]()
Pricing felt really high given how often it crashed and how frequently it didn't behave the way it should. The part I disliked most was that it couldn't calculate the time spent for CPT codes even though this was supposedly "in the works" years ago, it still hasn't been resolved.
Pros ![]()
Not much to say after logging in, the landing page is actually convenient but that's about it. Beyond that, the whole system feels extremely limited in what it can do.
Cons ![]()
Functionality and customer service were seriously lacking. Authorization is frequently inaccurate, visit counts often come up wrong and the customer support experience has been awful.
Pros ![]()
The system is genuinely pleasant to use navigation feels simple and adaptive. I got trained in under 8 hours and I was still able to move through everything without struggling. WebPT has been a solid fit for my medical office and I'd recommend it to other practices too.
Cons ![]()
I don't like that it doesn't communicate with the other system I use every day which adds an extra step when syncing information.
Pros ![]()
Scheduling module felt simple to move around in so setting up recurring and group appointments didn't require much effort. I also appreciated the flexibility to remove an entire group booking at once or delete individual appointments when something changes.
Cons ![]()
It kept shutting down unexpectedly. Our clinic ended up printing the next day's schedule just in case we lost access and didn't know who was supposed to come in. Whenever the site went down, we couldn't log back in for at least an hour which gets really stressful in a medical office setting.
