When I first spoke with our representative, I had 100% confidence that he understood our needs and how to tailor the product to fit us perfectly. He did not try to sell us anything unnecessary. His underst anding of the healthcare industry and all office aspects gave us relief, knowing his guidance and support were part of the plan. Each interaction from there was excellent, from the IT guys helping us underst and what we needed in the office to billing our first client, h andled with patience and professionalism.

Once I was trained on the software, it became user-friendly. If I have a question or forgot how to do a task, it's easy to log on to the PIMSY help desk and reference videos or PDF files on most topics. In addition, the software is updated frequently based on industry dem ands and PIMSY is willing to accommodate most needs specific to each company. It's also nice to be able to log in remotely to check the calendar for upcoming appointments.
Cons
There is no way for me to calculate or track the out-of-pocket maximum for patients within the system. At times, this can make it hard not to overcharge patients. At times, I will lose connection since the program is cloud-based. When the connection is lost, the information that was being entered can potentially be lost as well. Because of this, an autosave feature would be nice.

The software is easy to use and has many features that make workflow easier. The support team has been great in implementation and continued support.

At times, the billing side of the program has been difficult to navigate, but the support team has been helpful in this area when needed.

The program is full-featured, providing all the tools needed to manage records and submit claims electronically. I don't have to worry about backups or paper files. I appreciate the different permissions for various users, the built-in reports and the document storage.

The fact that I can access the same screen/information from multiple places makes it both easy to use and a little cluttered.

For our agency, which sees thous ands of sessions a year, PIMSY has fit our needs well. As we've grown, their team has guided us in adjusting features to support our changing workflows. There are still many features we haven't even used yet so it feels like there is room to exp and over time.

My main issue isn't with the software but with not having enough time to really dig into everything it can do. There's so much available that I haven't fully used yet.

PIMSY keeps me organized and helps me stay on schedule when h andling clinical records, which takes off a lot of stress during busy days.

There are times when I try to get my notes or treatment plans done and the system goes down, which slows everything down and throws off my workflow.

I really appreciate how quickly new claim formats can be created when insurance companies change their requirements. I also like that I can set up the system to match the workflow that already feels natural for our organization instead of having to rework everything.

Setting up different security access levels has been tough for me especially when many coworkers rely on different parts of the system. When one person adjusts something, it can unintentionally affect everyone else and that makes things confusing.
